Rules
The competitions are held under the rules as drawn up by IDO. See the website of the IDO, www.ido-dance.com, for an overview of the rules.
Overall, there will be dancing in four age categories namely Children (born in 1999 or later), Juniors (born in 1995, 1996, 1997, or 1998), Adults (born in 1994 or earlier), and Adults 2 (born in 1980 or earlier).
In addition, there will be dancing by solos, duos, small groups (3 to 7 dancers), formations (8 to 24 dancers) and productions (over 24 dancers).
The solos, duos and small groups categories dance to music from the organization. The formations and productions dance to their own music.
